Brachytherapy
Our radiotherapy unit provides brachytherapy with both low-dose rate treatment and high-dose rate brachytherapy device (Gammamed 12i).
A variety of techniques are applied
1- intracavitary and interstitial gynecological brachytherapy ( endometrial and cervical carcinoma)
2- interstitial brachytherapy (prostate, breast, head and neck and soft tissue sarcomas)
3- I-125 seeds and COMS plaque ( uveal melanoma). One operation room and one HDR treatment room serves for the applications.
