Historically
Istanbul University Oncology Institute has been serving for management of cancer with the primary goal of presenting oncologic treatments as a whole. Achieving that goal begins with integrated programs in cancer treatment, clinical trials, education programs and cancer prevention. Along with innovative cancer treatments, cancer research, comprehensive education and research-based on both common and rare cancers - has served countless adult and pediatric cancer patients and their families since 1934.
Istanbul University Oncology Institute stands as a reference center both for national and international patients. A major number of patients are referred to the institute from medical faculties and centers of Eastern Europe and Middle East.
